Q&A: Running vs Walking for weight loss and diet plan?

Question by Fritters: Running vs Walking for weight loss and diet plan? My bf and I are constantly battling over what is better for weight loss. He says running I say walking. I've read walking is more beneficial to burning fat while running will burn more carbohydrates over fat. I've also heard, unless one is an experienced runner it can be bad for the knees and lower back. So does anyone have the truth. I am trying to lose a bit of weight, just so I can feel comfortable again but
